About the Journal

Description

Scriptum Digital is an open access electronic journal dedicated to the dissemination of quality research on theoretical and methodological aspects related to digital publishing and computerised diachronic corpora in Ibero-Romance languages (computerised development of textual databases, corpus design and exploitation, philological aspects of corpus design and digital publishing, corpus-based linguistic studies, etc.). The journal does not favour any particular theoretical or methodological trend.

Articles published in Scriptum Digital are selected by a double-blind peer-review process. The publication languages of the journal are all Ibero-Romance and English. Scriptum Digital is currently published on an annual basis.

Scriptum Digital is an initiative of several research groups: the international network CHARTA (Hispanic and American Corpus on the Web: Ancient Texts), coordinated by Pedro Sánchez-Prieto (University of Alcalá de Henares), and the groups dedicated to diachronic corpora, coordinated by Andrés Enrique Arias (Universitat de les Illes Balears) and Joan Torruella (ICREA-Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona).
